The place is ok, not so cheap. The work they offer you is not the best (picking fruits, payd by productivity), but the other backpackers you'll meet there probably will make you happier!

Both through one contractor named Dean. Other work available depending on your timing.

Rooms comfortable but not perfect, showers ok but can get the odd cold one but that's hostel living. Rent is very cheap at $135 pw and lift provided to most working locations.

Plenty of work available June onwards, (mainly orange picking) good sociable crowd of people from all areas and cultures. Great to spend the evenings cooking, chatting and drinking.

$21.25(after tax and contractor's cut) for oranges. Not the best looked after farms either due to the trees being over-grown/unloved.

This backpack should be closed. It's not possible to welcome people in these conditions. The staff lied to us about work. They promised us a job and they didn't respect it. The room was just disgusting ! Spiders in the curtains, uncomfortable bed, the ground was very dirty, black walls, a huge problem with humidity. The kitchen and the bathroom were too disgusting as well. You just can't imagine... Really, don't go there, it's just like a horror movie. We stayed only one day! It's not possible to stay more. I'm wondering how it's possible to treat people like animals. It's just scandalous. We have just lost time and a lot of money to go there... People like this ruin beautiful image of Australia... Really, I don't j this dirty and dark place.
