    One of the best kept historical villages I've seen. I went here as a primary school student and now I'm taking grandchildren. The place has only got better.

    Very good village, you won't find better. Loxton is by far the best town in the riverland

    Worth a visit if interested local history, vintage and early yrsrs excellent displays, buildings, items, vehicles. Set aside a couple of hours to appreciate all that's inside the compound.

    Some really interesting pioneering history. Worth a look if in the area. Would allow 2hrs for a good look.

    It's well maintained for a historical village and the audio in most buildings was a great bonus. Some more interactive displays would be nice. It looks like they may do more on other days or other times of the year, it was a Sunday afternoon in winter so who knows. Would like to visit again with more time.
